God Bless Haiti

Haiti has experienced a huge natural disaster. With a death toll of 200,000 people confirmed dead, 250,000 people injured, and over 1.5 million people homeless. 28 Americans confirmed dead and still thousands of Americans missing. The world has come together to provide much needed food, water, and clothes. But 1 week after the earthquake, we aren't getting these essentials to the hungry and thirsty fast enough. The United State Air Force C-17 Globemaster, airdropped humanitarian aid into Port-Au-Prince 1/18. 8 Chinese peace keepers were killed in the Haiti earthquake. They are looked at as, a sacrifice to world peace. As you can see from the picture to the above, although millions are suffering, they can still find ways to express their gratitude for America. God Bless Haiti.

Please find a way to donate to the people in need in Haiti.

Portland's FINEST!!

I am a sports fan. I think this comes from my husband being a sports fan! Although we have our favorite teams for different reasons. He picks his teams because he likes how the players play or maybe the location. I pick mine by how handsome the players are!! The BLAZER'S are playing very well this season, even with all the injuries. They came back and beat the Lakers, and I do like the Lakers (KOBE)! Blazer's win over the Miami Heat, one of my favorites (WADE)! They also took it from the Suns (poor STOUDEMIRE)!

I think the BLAZER'S are going to bring their best game, and give all the other teams a run for their money. But that's just my opinion, what do you think?

If you can't make it to a BLAZER's game and you don't feel like sitting at home. You should seriously round up your family and friends. Come to Big Al's, we show every BLAZER'S game on our amazingly huge T.V.'s throughout the building. You can get a bite to eat, play some arcade games at half time. You can even enjoy some bowling and watch the game at the same time! So stay tuned for the next BLAZER'S game and come cheer for the BLAZER's with us here at Big Al's!!

A little 411!!

So, this is my very first blog EVER! And it is supposed to be about bowling. I am NOT a bowler! I like to bowl, but I'm not a professional! But after working here at Big Al's, I think bowling is this generations new entertainment. Seriously, this one building has something to entertain people of all ages. From amazing food, great drinks, arcade games you won't see anywhere else, the most luxurious bowling section ever invented, good tunes, and a great atmosphere. And don't let me leave out the amazing owners, the new General Manager, and staff that make these good times ROLL!

Let me give you guys a little 411 on Big Al's. Things that you wouldn't know unless you frequented Big Al's or I told you. #1 We have daily specials here at Big Al's. Specials so good you really are missing out if you don't find out more!! #2 We have a top of the line Pro Shop. It has anything you might need or want for bowling. And if we don't have it in the shop, it can & will be ordered for you. And Charlie (he runs the pro shop) is an awesome guy and truly knows ALOT about bowling. #3 Charlie in the Pro Shop also give lessons to those of you wanting to master THE ART OF BOWLING!! #4 Our restaurant has won numerous awards for the food they serve you here at Big Al's! I can actually vouch for that too! YUMMY!! #5 The owners are in the process of building another Big Al's in Beaverton Oregon. That's just awesome!

Okay, I think I might be able to go on and on about all the amazing things here at Big Al's. And I will, just not all in one posting.
